They are part of our Mug Club! We have a local potter named Bob Husby who handcrafts each of these unique mugs. They all have different patterns and designs, and range between 22-25 ounces in size. For $100 you can buy into this lifelong membership when mugs are available. It takes some time for Bob to make a batch of these, but when they’re ready we’ll announce them on social media. Then you’ll be able to pick out a mug that speaks to you!
How the Mug Club program works: We record the number on the bottom of your chosen mug to match your name and phone number. That way we can easily find it for you if you don’t remember the mug number. The mugs do stay here in our taproom. We clean, store, and take care of it for you. Your mug will only be your mug. No one else will have access to it. When you come into the taproom you pay for a normal priced pint or 10 oz pour, but you get so much more with the mug. For a 10 oz beer we give you a generous half mug pour.
Drink in style with the Mug Club!
We do not host private events or allow reservations to be made in the taproom as we don’t want to exclude our brewery to the general public. As a smaller brewery we also have limited space with a max capacity of 136 people, including the patio. All seating is on a first come first serve basis.
We can fill growlers as long as they are stainless steel with the Federal Government Warning. No glass growler fills. We do not have our own growlers in house either. We do sell our own crowler cans though.
Yes, all ages are welcome!
We have Lake Superior Brewing rootbeer and Duluth Kombucha on tap.
There are high chairs available for seating.
All well-behaved furry friends are welcome! They are allowed on the patio, but not in the taproom. We only request that you keep them leashed at all times.
No, as of now we do not have GF options, as there is flour in the air and oven in our kitchen. We do not have alternative vegan crust options or cheeses, but it is something we may look into. In the mean time we can suggest the vegetarian Voyageur pizza without Parmesan and Ricotta.
Being that we have our own pizza area we ask that you don’t bring outside food into the taproom or patio. If you have special food needs and cannot eat our provided food, that is okay. Just let us know, and please try to keep it discreet.
There’s no smoking on the patio or within 50 feet of the building. We ask that you please smoke by the far garden box, across the street, or in the alley.
We have a rotating tap of Duluth Kombucha, and Roller Root beer from Lake Superior Brewing.
We have a small parking lot next to the building with a handicap space. It does fill up quickly though. There is plenty of free street parking available up and down Superior Street.
